Favorite thing to do on a Saturday afternoon:  Watch Oklahoma win another Big 12 Championship in football, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, spend time with my family and grill out (even though I don't have a grill yet.)

Why I love my ministry:  My passion is teenagers and my primary task is helping them develop a faith that they can call their own.  Teenagers need to understand that they are a part of the Church as a whole.

Favorite thing to do on a Saturday afternoon:  Well, on a perfect Saturday afternoon, I’d just be waking up (I LOVE sleeping in!). But, I’d probably go work out, come home, read a good book for a couple hours, and then meet up with some friends for some dinner and a movie.

Favorite Bible verse:  Romans 12:1:  “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship.”  and Micah 6:8: “He has shown you, O man, what is good.  And what does the Lord require of you?  To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

Why I love my ministry:  Kids are Iike little excited sponges! They can soak up so much information and are so pure-hearted – giving them an edge on understanding the goodness of God. They almost always come excited to learn and asking a million questions! They are just so enthusiastic. also love watching kids grow! Ya know, when you haven’t seen them in a couple weeks and they walk in and it looks like they’ve grown 3 feet??? I not only get to see that, but I get to see the spiritual growth of a young believer. I’ve been able to get involved with the lives of so many of our young Wildewood families, and it has been a blessing!

Favorite thing to do on a Saturday afternoon:  In the winter - Listen to Christmas music; In Spring - golf; In Summer - golf and try to catch some Royals games; In Fall - watch the Huskers dominate on the football field, help my dad with harvest... and golf.

Why I love my ministry:  I love ministry because it gives me an opportunity to serve our LIVING GOD!  I've seen some amazing testimonies lived out here at Wildewood, and I feel so privileged to serve here.  Music is a big passion, and I feel blessed to be surrounded with worshipers who worship throughout the week and not just on Sunday!  I also love spending time with people! Hanging out with our junior high kids have been a big blessing in my life, and it's amazing to watch them grow!!
