1/15: They are on their way home.
1/18: Barb will have extensive shoulder surgery 1/20.

Maureen Brown:
1/16: young girl, Kara Siert,(16; adopted from China) had her heart stop on Saturday, probably due to chemo treatments 5-6 years ago. She has some heart, liver and kidney damage, and possibly heart. This is very rare and very serious.
1/19: off the respirator
1/30: Kara is home! PTL!

1/16: dad, Mel, fell and broke bones in his shoulder and wrist, possible shoulder replacement surgery today
1/30: He did not need the surgery after all, but has a long road to recovery ahead

1/19: sister, Barb (TX, 63) is going to have a double mastectomy tomorrow for recurring breast cancer
