 What We Believe

WE BELIEVE in one God, who created all things, eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE in God's Word, the Bible, as infallible, and our only rule of faith and practice.

WE BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and in His virgin birth, sinless life, His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death and shed blood on Calvary. In His bodily resurrection, His ascension to God's right hand, and His second coming in power and glory.

WE BELIEVE that all people are sinners by divine declaration and by personal choice, and thus in need of a Savior to save them from the penalty of sin. Salvation is a free gift and a result of God's grace, received through repentance, faith, confession of Christ and baptism into Christ Jesus.

WE BELIEVE in the church, an elect company of believers, who make up one body. The church has a mission to witness concerning its head—Jesus Christ, and to present the gospel to every person, baptizing him or her (by immersion), and assisting them in becoming disciples of Jesus.

WE BELIEVE in the Lord's Supper, which is a Holy Communion and memorial of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. This is observed each Lord's day (Acts 20:7) and every Christian is invited to examine his or her life and partake with a worthy attitude. As the loaf and cup are distributed, we partake individually at that time.

WE BELIEVE that we are not the only Christians, but Christians only, thus not a part of any denomination. Our prayer is for the unity of all Christ's family based on allegiance to Him and His word.
